PORTFOLIO
This portfolio features eLearning and design work developed across various tools and platforms. It highlights my process of interpreting content and aligning it with defined learning goals. I create learning experiences that include both provided content adaptations and original creations
Projects 2023-2026
MHM1-Books
This activity was created in Storyline as part of a Mental Health training scheduled for publication on May 2026. The challenge was to organize a large volume of optional reference content that learners could explore based on their professional needs. "The Book" concept allows users to open each section as they choose, presenting the material in a compact, accessible, and inviting format.
MHM2-Anxiety
In this scenario, an initial dialogue was developed by the clinical team and later refined by the instructional design team with her approval. I adapted it into a reflective experience using guided questions and feedback, helping learners explore how crisis counselors can respond effectively when supporting someone experiencing an anxiety attack.
MHM1-Factors Influencing
I used this RISE/hotspots scenario to help learners explore factor that can influence mental health, both positively and negatively. The concept and selected design elements create an engaging, inviting experience that encourage exploration. Paired with visual prompts, these elements support understanding and help reinforce retention.
Follow-Up Folders
I created this Storyline folder interaction to help crisis counselors access key information needed during a follow-up call, revealing content as needed. Because in real-world platforms used across crisis centers vary, it wasn't possible to replicate a single system exactly. Instead, I used a folder-based approach as a flexible, universal way to present the essential information counselors should reference at specific moment in a call.
Follow-Up Cases
This Storyline scenario was designed to help crisis counselors respond effectively to help-seekers while following up on plans established in a previous call. With approval from the clinical team, I developed targeted feedback for both correct and incorrect learner responses, guiding the to understand the reasoning behind each approach. The instructional design was created by me.
One of my responsibilities as an instructional designer is to analyze the logical flow of content provided by the Content Team and evaluate how well it aligns with the learning objectives, To support this process, I introduced an initial content analysis step within the ID Team, providing early insights on structure and alignment before group review. These analyses help identify gaps or inconsistencies and inform more focused team discussions, allowing to make thoughtful, well-supported recommendations to the Content Team.
Projects 2023-2026
Inmigración Detuvo a Juany
This Storyline project was developed to help immigrants understand how to respond in the event of ICE detention. The interactive training is based on insights gathered from a survey conducted with individuals across different areas of Memphis, which identify a need for clear, accessible information on what to do if a detention occurs.
Basic Psychosocial Intervention Model
This video explains the key elements of a psychosocial model applied to mental health support for migrant population. The project was developed as a final assignment for a training program focused on mental health care for migrants and refugees.
Christmas Trivia
This interactive game was developed for zoom parties. Participants were divided into two teams, and questions were presented one at a time. After each response, the correct answer was revealed, and teams earned a point for every correct response.
From Villains to Not-So-Bad. The Protagonists of 2020
This activity was created to help participants reflect on the positive/learning aspects that can emerge from experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each slide presents a situation, and the group members are invited to identify a positive perspective or lesson learned, supporting reflection and the process of healing from the experience.
A Christmas Story?
This interactive Christmas activity is designed for group participation. The goal is to collaboratively build a story, with each member adding a section inspired by different images that appear. By the end of the activity, a complete and often creative and funny story emerges from the group's contributions.
A People With Many Faces Interactive Menu
This interactive menu was created for a conference promoting cultural awareness. In addition to the conference sessions, participants shared breakfast and lunch featuring dishes from around the world. The clickable menu allowed attendees to discover each dish’s ingredients and learn about its country or region of origin.
